Good Grit's
"Out with the Old, In with the New” Flourish Launch Party will have you starting the new season with enthusiasm! To celebrate the release our 5th issue, we are hosting a Slient Auction and Karaoke- For- A- Cause!
During our Brewery Browse you will have the opportunity to browse the inner workings of Trim Tab's brewery while bidding on local adventures, resturants, and stay-cations for the spring/summer. You can also enjoy dinner from local food trucks while sipping on the brewery's on-site-made beer and beer cocktails. Bid on KARAOKE DUETS with Sara Evans, Ruben Studdard, Mayor William Bell, Chris Hastings, and Jaime Primak Sullivan. A few other special guests will be in the building as well!
And let’s not forget we are "Karaoke-ing for a Cause”!! Your $15 entrance fee (and any additional donations you might want to make) will benefit The Lovelady Center, our giveback partner for Flourish. The Lovelady Center, located in a converted hospital in Birmingham’s East Lake neighborhood, is an all-inclusive non-profit that exists with the sole mission of helping women in times of severe distress. A source of healing and redemption, the supervised re-entry program is a drug rehabilitation center, a certified daycare, a homeschool academy, a cafeteria, and even a chapel. The Lovelady Center relies on donations and community support in order to maintain its ministry. For more information visit
